The countdown to our wedding weekend has begun! What started as two kids falling in BuffaLove over 11 years ago will now be celebrated with a MarValous wedding alongside all of you beautiful souls!

OUR STORY

How did you meet Maral?
It was August 2013, and there she was: a fascinating, gorgeous social butterfly lighting up Buffalo's student parties with her positive energy and hip-hop moves. It was impossible to resist being pulled into her orbit, and so I started spinning. Fast forward a few months to a bar in Allentown (or "Alien Town," as she liked to call it), and I was done spinning: I made the first move and set off on the rollercoaster of Buffalove.

How did Valerio propose?

There he was, atop the Blue Marlin rooftop, the Italian sea behind him, heart racing, voice trembling, asking me to be his forever. Nearly 11 years after we met in Buffalo, I sat there, stunned, overjoyed, grinning like never before. “Oh my god, babe are we engaged?" I asked a thousand times, staring at my ring in disbelief. With my heart full and body shaking, I finally looked up and said “YES YES YES”!

What happened in between?
The chapters between our meet-cute and the proposal have been written together with you, and we’re beyond excited to celebrate this journey together!

Late August in Perugia typically features hot and sunny conditions. Average daytime highs reach around 32°C (90°F), while nighttime lows are approximately 17°C (63°F). The humidity is generally moderate, and while rain is infrequent, occasional thunderstorms may occur (fingers crossed this won’t happen at the wedding, please).
